As I was listening to what Ron Paul was saying it reminds me of John Galt from the book Atlas Shrugged. In the book there came a time when the government and economy got so bad they finally wanted the assistance of John Galt, unfortunately they forever remained too stubborn to implement any of his ideas - the ideas that would have actually worked.
